One Tequila, Two Tequila, Three Tequila, More...

If someone does not buy this tomorrow, I am going to hone a taste for tequila just so I can use this thing.

Not to blow my own horn, but it turned out exactly as I wanted it to.

Market Mania

Tomorrow, June 27th, I'll be at the Makers Market in the courtyard of St. Paul's on King West.

The forecast is finally calling for a sunny market day, so be sure to stroll around Westdale and check it out.

Also, awesome news for fall. I was accepted into the Trinity Bellwoods Outdoor Art Show & Sale as part of the Queen West Art Crawl. This party runs September 19-20 from 11am-6pm each day.

I am going to bust it this summer to produce a dizzying array of leather goods, so if you're in Toronto that weekend, stop by and have a look.

Shoot From the Hip

My leather line lives in a new place!

As mentioned when I originally posted a link to my Etsy store, I was never really feeling the name Under the Leather. Unfortunately, I am impatient and I just wanted to get the goods online, so I slapped my store with a name and started listing items.

Last week, while staring at one of many six-shooter-themed leather pieces, I decided I much prefer Shoot From the Hip. It is simultaneously old-school western and current, which matches my leather style: traditional western tooling techniques with a modern twist.

SO. You can now find me at shootfromthehip.ca. This re-routes to my Etsy shop, where I am listed under the seller name shootfromcanada.

Tandem

I'm late on this, but Karen Casey and I have a joint exhibition at Downtown Bike Hounds right now - Tandem.

A whack of paintings, all priced at $50 each. Extra fun bonus? They're laid out in a Bingo-style grid. If you buy a piece that ends up being part of a complete line in any direction (yes, there's a free space), you get a Bike Hounds prize pack and one entry in a draw to win a pricey pair of sweet Dutch panniers. Check it out!

My Brain is Turning into Leathery, Leathery Mush

So it poured rain during today's Makers' Market. Of course, five days ago, I didn't know it was going to do that so I spent the entire week making magic for today. Magic that not many saw. Oh well, there's always next week - Westdale. 1140 King Street West. Saturday. 10 am-3pm. Be there. Buy these deals up.

In the meantime, here are some examples. Check out my Etsy store for more.
